We were invited to go to the department of gynecology led by Prof. P. Marrion of the C.Pradel Cardiovascular Hospital of the Lyon University of Medicine in France from September 1979 to May 1980 (Cardiac surgery) and Prof. Y. Rochet of the Ed-Herriot Hospital. Prof. P. Magnin led the Department of Obstetrics and Perinatal Medicine led by Prof. B.Salle, and visited the Broussais, Pitie, Salpeiere and Necker Hospitals of the Paris University School of Medicine for short-term visits.
