凤凰山铜矿选矿厂原设计处理能力为2000(吨/日)。整套设备系国外引进。后来又以国产设备进行了扩建。通过简化设计流程和增添4台同类型浮选机,扩大了铜硫混合浮选的生产能力。但浮选分离系统因无扩建场地和设备不配套而未能相应扩建。为了确保选铜,将铜硫混合浮选流程改为单一选铜流程,停止回收硫达几年之久。
