湖南铁路科技职业技术学院是一所具有半个多世纪铁路行业办学历史的高职院校。铁路“跨越式”大发展和城市轨道交通建设的快速兴起,为学院提供了很好的发展契机。笔者通过多方调研、分析与思考,认为当铁路与城市轨道交通建设所需人才达到一定饱和程度后,学院在继续服务行业的同时,主动适应、服务社会经济发展需要,也可以达成服务行业产业与服务区域经济的统一,并实现发展自我、成就自我的目标。
