盼望已久的歌剧《雷雨》,终于由上海歌剧院携来北京,于2月22、23两日在国家大剧院演出了!我于23日晚应邀前往观摩,第一感觉就是:为何只演这么少的区区两场?后来,听了该剧院的领导、作曲家、导演及表演者的述说,于赞赏之余,我要大声疾呼:“歌剧太需要全社会的支持了!”为什么?且听我慢慢道来。据我所知,作曲家莫凡早在1998年就已着手歌剧《雷雨》的创作了。他曾写文章称:创作《雷雨》是对自己的一次“精神洗礼”。
