In recent years, along with the tide of reform and opening up, the film and television department has done a great deal of useful work in the literary and art publicity so as to enable the broad masses of people to broaden their horizons and further liberate their ideas and enrich and revitalize their cultural life. However, I think there are also some biases, mainly because there are too many films broadcast in Hong Kong and Taiwan, too many foreign films and martial arts films, and fewer in the domestic films.
