盆景的随意性和刻意性,两者都给中国盆景艺术的发展带来极大的损失。艺术作品都必须渗入人的思想,表现人的感情;不能集中典型地表现人的社会生活、自然景观的作品,就不能称作艺术作品。当然盆景艺术也不能例外。我与好几位盆景爱好者以及靠挖桩养家来糊口的山民常年相处。他们从山上挖来的或从市场买来的树桩,不加思索地随意锯截、修剪一下,就下地栽种。有的在花木市场只要有点看中,一次就买下几十个,数百斤的下山桩。有的不惜重金,千里之外购
Bonsai arbitrary and deliberate, both to the development of Chinese art bonsai brought great losses. All works of art must permeate the thoughts of the people and show the feelings of the people.
