OBJECTIVE: To analyze the pre-operative psychological status of cesarean section pregnant women who were indicted for cesarean section in the hospital in the past year and provide information for the specific measures to control the rate of cesarean section. Methods: From April 2006 to March 2007, 50 pregnant women who had no intention of medical indication in the hospital and who voluntarily requested cesarean delivery were investigated for psychological status. Fill out William WKznug’s own SAS, SDS, and self-made questionnaires about childbirth related mental states. Results: The SDS score of the cesarean section was required to exceed the normal value, but <50, suggesting that there was only depression tendency without depression. The SDS score of vaginal delivery group was lower than the normal value, suggesting no depression. Conclusion: To strengthen psychological support for prenatal pregnant women, can effectively reduce the cesarean section due to psychological factors, thereby reducing the cesarean section rate.
