英语教材在英语教学活动中起着举足轻重的作用,是教师进行课堂教学的基本依据。现行高职高专英语教材是否能够满足中医药院校教学的实际需要,能否提高学生英语学习的积极性,是亟待解决的问题。本文采用Mc Donough & Shaw的教材评估细则对《当代高职高专英语教程》这套教材进行评估,分析了这套教材在实际教学使用中存在的一些问题,提出中医药高职高专大学英语教材应该具备的特点,以期为英语教学改革、教材研究和编写提供参考。
English teaching materials plays an important role in English teaching activities, is the basic basis for teachers in classroom teaching. Whether the existing English teaching materials for higher vocational colleges can meet the actual needs of Chinese medicine colleges and universities and whether they can improve their enthusiasm for English learning is an urgent problem to be solved. This article uses McDonald ’s and Shaw’ s teaching material evaluation rules to evaluate the textbook of “Contemporary English Curriculum for Higher Vocational Education”, analyzes some problems existing in the actual teaching use of this textbook, Teaching materials should have the characteristics, with a view to English teaching reform, teaching materials and provide a reference for the preparation.
