Thirty male mice randomly devided into four groups: rest control group (C), rest and rIL- 2 injection group(CI),endurance training group (T) and endurance training and rIL- 2 injection group(TI). The T and TI ndce had swam 60 min/day, 6 days/week for five weeks before sacrifice. The results show that after the training the reactions of splenic lymphocytes to con A and LPS and the reaction of PFC test all decreased sighficantly(P<0.05>). The training witL rIL-2 injection could attenuate the adverse effects of the training on the immune function and increase the reaction of the splenic lymphocytes to Con Aand LPS significantly(P<0.05). And the results of PFC test was also increased significantly(p<0.05). Otherwise it could make the ratio of the T4/T8 in spleen increase significantly (P<0. 05). These results suggest that the rIL- 2 can attenuate the adverse effects of prolonged exercise training on immune function and enhance the host defense against diseases.
