《静止物建》是旅居纽约的组合杨嘉茜&朱喆重要代表作品。在该系列中,电视柜、刀叉、玻璃器皿……这些再平常不过的物件,被艺术家从熟悉的生活场景中抽离出来,并被赋予了全新的空间维度和含义。通过这种“置换情境”的创作方式,能让观者在短暂的时间内可以忘记物件本来的定位,而去感知在图像中所表现出的全新空间和物件,感受那些超于现实的日常
“Still Life” is an important representative of Yang Jiaxi & Zhu Zhe, a group living in New York. In this series, TV cabinets, knives and forks, glassware ... these more than ordinary objects, the artist from the familiar scenes of life out, and has been given a new dimension and meaning of space.
