扭秧歌是我的家乡——东北农村每年春节时必有的民间娱乐活动。刚进腊月,村里的“秧歌头”就开始筹备扭秧歌的诸多事宜了:选秧歌队员、雇吹喇叭和打鼓的人、购买秧歌服、做头饰、准备扇子……选人是很重要的。一般来说,要选有经验的、年轻健壮的,这样扭起来才带劲儿。但也有些年纪稍大些的,他们在家闲着无聊,又有点儿扭秧歌的爱好,也就自然成了队员。还有个别放寒假在家休息的初中生,他们也想试试身手,在“秧歌头”家里软磨硬泡。“秧歌头”禁不住磨,只好点头答应,但条件是把他们排在队伍的末尾。
