今年6月8日下午,我来到柏克莱石根华先生家里,访问了他。石先生于1939年7月出生在东北的齐齐哈尔。1949年1月回到河北省老家。父亲原为银行职员,后来务农。家庭共有兄弟姐妹7人,他是老大。他从1949年5月上小学五年级住校时起就离开了家,直到研究生毕业,过了20年的集体生活。他于1957年考入北京大学数学系,1963年毕业。毕业后继续留校任著名数学家江泽涵先生的研究生。1968年2月。他被分配至兰州西北水电勘测设计院,同年5月下放到甘肃与四川交界的白龙江碧口电站工地,先后担任过隧洞开挖工、设计员、总工程师助手等职。
On the afternoon of June 8 this year, I came to visit Mr. Berkeley’s home and interviewed him. Mr. Shi was born in July 1939 in Qiqihar in the northeast. January 1949 back home in Hebei Province. My father was a bank clerk before farming. A total of seven brothers and sisters family, he is the boss. He left his home from the fifth year of his fifth year of primary school in May 1949, and graduated as a graduate student after 20 years of collective life. He was admitted to the Department of Mathematics of Peking University in 1957 and graduated in 1963. After graduation, he continued to graduate as a graduate student of famous mathematician Mr. Jiang Zehan. February 1968. He was assigned to Northwest Hydropower Survey and Design Institute in Lanzhou and handed over to Bikong Bikou Power Station on the border between Gansu and Sichuan in May of the same year. He has served as a tunnel excavator, designer and chief engineer assistant successively.
