去年,北京市园林学会代表会议,讨论通过,推荐菊花作为北京市市花。1983年11月北海公园菊展期间,在展览会上利用星期天游人集中时开展评选宣传活动,有8,000多人签名。北京市艺菊历史悠久,明清时已有菊花名品三、四百个,人民喜爱菊花清雅高洁,适应性强。近年北京菊艺进步很快,如微型盆景,在磁盘内栽种的壁挂菊花和案头菊等都有创新。园林学家陈俊愉盛情推荐菊花作市花,建议扩大地栽菊,选耐寒品种,种在公园、城市绿地、分车道和花坛上种植。花团紧簇,金风送爽时,处处菊花香。汪菊渊教授说,菊花占世界切花生产的首位,我们应培育自己的切花品种,培育四季
Last year, Beijing Institute of Landscape Architecture, discussed and approved the recommended chrysanthemum flower as the city of Beijing.
