党的十六大报告指出,解决“三农”问题是全面建设小康社会的重大任务,而作为社会主义新农村建设的主体,农民的科技文化水平直接关系到社会主义新农村建设的进程。中等职业教育的目的就是培养学生成为适应新时代要求、具有一定专业技术的中等技术型人才,中职教学侧重于对学生的专业实用技能和综合素质能力的培养,让学生能真正地掌握一定的理论知识和专业生产技能,这样才能使中职毕业生有一技之长,做新农村建设的优秀接班人。
