ＫＳ－３０４是从美国引进的白胚乳优质杂交高粱组合。该组合具有很强的耐涝、耐旱及抗倒性能，且具有亩产８００ｋｇ以上的生产潜力。其籽粒单宁含量极低，营养品质好，作为酿酒原料，其出酒率达３８．１％，明显高于东北高粱。籽粒饲用，饲养家禽的干物质利用率、总能代谢率、氨基酸消化率均极显著高于对照品种；其籽粒可代替部分玉米作饲料。在多年试验示范的基础上，提出了ＫＳ－３０４的栽培技术要点及制种、繁种技术。
KS-304 is a white endosperm high-quality hybrid sorghum combination introduced from the United States. The combination has strong waterlogging resistance, drought tolerance and lodging resistance, and has a production yield of more than 800kg per mu. Its grain tannin content is very low, the nutritional quality is good, as wine raw materials, the wine rate of 38.1%, significantly higher than the northeast sorghum. The dry matter utilization rate, total energy metabolism rate and amino acid digestibility rate of foraging and breeding poultry were significantly higher than those of control breeds. The grain could replace some corn as feedstuff. On the basis of years of experimental demonstration, put forward the key points of KS-304 cultivation techniques and seed production, breeding technology.
