湖北高腔复活了,这是戏曲事业中的一桩喜事。提起高腔,大家都会想到湖南和四川的高腔,却很少有人知道湖北也曾經流行过高腔。因为30年来,湖北高腔沒有在舞台上露面,被人們遺忘了,直到今年春天,它才像一朵娇艳的迎春花,在武汉市舞台上重新开放。它一出現,便受到武汉观众的热情欢迎。这就是武汉市楚剧团青年演員們演出的《拜月記》。湖北高腔是一个历史悠久的古老剧种。它和湖南高腔、四川高腔一样,同为江西弋阳腔的地方化。若說湖南高腔渊源于弋阳腔的支流青阳腔,則湖北高腔便是直接由弋阳腔移植而来的。

If Hunan High Chamber originates from Yiyang cavity tributary Qingyang cavity, Hubei high cavity is transplanted directly from Yiyang cavity.
