本文主要是结合兰州市中心广场的具体情况,介绍我们在其规划设计过程中,就当前城市设计中人们所关注的有关中心广场的性质功能;交通的安全性;广场的舒适性与地方性的体现;以及对其经济效益与社会效益的预计等问题作了较详细的研讨。提出以人们活动时的生理与心理要求为出发点,组织其空间内容,安排其空间序列。协调其不同界面。制定宜人的尺度,并从反映其地方文化内含的角度上考虑其地方性特点的表现。以最后求得合理的环境效益、社会效益与经济效益。建设好美丽的符合现代化要求的兰州新市中心广场。
