1997年全省道路交通安全管理工作有了新的进展,保持了全省道路交通安全基本稳定,遏制了特大道路交通事故上升的势头。一、万车死亡率有所下降,1997年全国道路交通万车死亡率由1996年的20.4人/万车/,降至17.3人/万车,而我省道路交通事故万车死亡率由1996年的17.8人/万车,下降到15.5人/万车,好于全国平均水平。二、重大特大道路交通事故减少。1997年全省共发生一次死亡3人以上重特大道路交通事故48起,死亡183人,比上年分别下降7.7%、16.1%。
In 1997, the province’s road traffic safety management has made new progress, maintaining the basic stability of road traffic safety in the province and curbing the momentum of traffic accidents on extra-large roads. First, the death rate of 10,000 vehicles has dropped. In 1997, the death toll of 10,000 vehicles in the country’s road traffic dropped from 20.4 persons / 10,000 vehicles in 1996 to 17.3 persons / 10,000 vehicles. The mortality rate of road traffic accidents in our province dropped from 1996 Year 17.8 people / 10,000 cars, down to 15.5 people / million vehicles, better than the national average. Second, major road traffic accidents reduced. In 1997, there were 48 traffic accidents involving more than three persons in major roads in the province, with 183 deaths, a decrease of 7.7% and 16.1% over the previous year respectively.
