1988年12月14日至17日,新疆农学会在新疆农科院科技交流馆召开了第五次会员代表大会暨学术讨论会.来自天山南北地方、生产建设兵团两大系统,科研、教育、生产三条战线,代表着新疆农学会13个分科学会(协会、研究会)及各地、州、市农学会2500名会员的105位专家、教授、科技工作者,参加了会议.自治区科协党组书记、副主席李大贵同志、自治区党委农工部副部长买买提明·依迪里斯同志、新疆农科院党委书记张贵廷同志到会
