一个历史永远铭记的时刻:1981年12月13日全国五届人大四次会议做出《关于开展全民义务植树运动的决议》,用法律形式规定了每个适龄公民义务植树的任务,揭开了我国绿化事业新的一页。一项造福人类的事业:植树造林,绿化祖国,是建设社会主义、造福子孙后代的伟大事业,是治理山河、改善生态环境的一项重大战略措施。这一全党动员、全民参与的绿化大行动,拉开了我省生态建设的新篇章。
A moment that history always remembers: On December 13, 1981, the Fourth Plenary Session of the Fifth National People’s Congress made the Resolution on Carrying out the People’s Volition for Afforestation Campaign. It defined the task of complying with the law and stipulating the voluntary tree planting for each age-appropriate citizen and unveiled A new page of greening in China. A Cause for the Benefit of Mankind: Reforestation and greening the motherland are great undertakings for building socialism and for the benefit of future generations. It is a major strategic measure for governing the rivers and mountains and improving the ecological environment. The mobilization of the whole party and the participation of all the people in the afforestation campaign opened a new chapter in the ecological construction of our province.
