In your essay “A Fresh Spring in Plain Nature” published in the first issue of 1982, the first sentence of Ye Sawing's “garden worthless” is translated as follows: “What a shame, that piece of moss left me Shoe print. ” In my opinion, this does not accord with the original intention of poetry. From the poem to see, the poet garden, “small buckle Chai Fei is not open” reason should be the owner “pity” of the “Indian licorice”, so Chai Fei “long time not open,” but should not be “alas, That piece of moss left my shoe print. ” Seen from the second sentence of the poem, the first sentence should mean: The owner cares about the garden, for fear that I leave a shoe print on the moss.
