本届征文大赛共收到参赛稿12269件,包括诗歌(含旧体诗词)、散文、小小说、杂文、小品剧、歌曲、传记、童话等各类体裁,内容丰富多采。作者主要是大中学校的老师学生,上有70多岁的老教师、教授,下有12岁的初中生,另外还有工人、农民、解放军、党政干部、文化工作者及作家、诗人等社会各界人士参加,其中以各类中专、技校、高中生为主,占总参赛人数的45.1%,初中生占28.2%,大学生占16.6%,教师占6%,社会组占4.1%。经过各地组委委员单位初评推荐,再由专家二审,最后送大赛评委会终评,共244人获奖,占总参赛人数的2%,其中一等奖5名,二等奖26名,三等奖68名,优秀奖147名,部分作品已在本刊及《中国青年报》《中国新一代》等报刊发表,并将选编出版。此外,还评出指导奖10名,个人组织奖17名,集体组织奖11名。以下为获奖名单,排名不分先后,括号内为指导老师。
