我省特早熟棉区温度低,无霜期短,不利于棉花产量的提高。积极选育早熟、高产、优质的特早熟棉花品种,是改变本区棉花生产面貌、夺取丰收的重要基础。经多年努力,我们选育出棉花新品种晋棉6号。该品种产量表现突出、经济效益显著,不仅适于一般露地种植,而且适于地膜覆盖栽培,是我省特早熟棉区地膜栽培较理想的配套品种。
