吴先生与12岁的女儿在美国洛杉矶国际机场因被海关发现携带16瓶复方甘草片而被拘留,经律师争取得以回国,但因美国食品药品管理局检测出该药物中含有违禁成分,遭美政府处罚:5年不得入境。近年来,先后有多起中国公民因涉嫌携带违禁药品被外国出入境管理机关扣留、起诉。几起事件均是因为我国公民在入境时携带了在国内普通药店都可以买到的感冒药,有人甚至在随团行李中一次性携带了20盒。被查禁的原因是,这些感冒药物中都含有一种叫伪订黄碱的成分,该成分是制造冰毒的原料之一。
Mr. Wu and his 12-year-old daughter were detained at the Los Angeles International Airport in the United States for being caught carrying 16 bottles of compound licorice tablets at the United States Customs Office. They were compelled to return home by lawyers. However, since the FDA detected that the drug contained prohibited ingredients, Government penalties: No entry for 5 years. In recent years, many Chinese citizens have successively been detained and prosecuted by foreign immigration authorities for carrying suspected illicit drugs. Several incidents were caused by the fact that our citizens carried the cold medicines that they had at home when they entered the country and some even carried 20 boxes of carry-on baggage at a time. The reason for being banned is that these cold medications contain a component called pseudosodium, which is one of the raw materials used to make methamphetamine.
