风是地球上的一种自然现象,它是由太阳辐射引起的。太阳照射到地球表面,地球表面各处受热不同,产生温差,从而引起大气的对流运动形成风。风能是太阳能的一种转化形式,也就是空气的动能。地球上的风能资源十分丰富,根据相关资料统计,每年地球上产生大约4.3×10~(12)kW·h的风能,比地球上可开发利用的水能总量还要大10倍。把风能转变成电能是风能利用中最基本的一种方式。风力发电机的风轮在风力的作用下旋转,把风的动能转变为风轮轴的机械能,风力发电机在风能轴的带动下旋转发电。风力发电的优点:
