近数年来,我国高校中编辑专业教育发展迅速,已初具规模,社会上有相当大的影响。最初是在1984年,北大、复旦、南开三校率先成立了编辑专业。接着清华大学于1985年,中国科技大学、西安交通大学、河南大学于1986年,四川大学于1988年,武汉大学于1989年,还有其它单位,都相继设立编辑专业,招收本科生,个别单位招收研究生。这些办学单位多是我国历史悠久、实力雄厚的重点大学,编辑专业大都设在中文系(清华大学科技编辑专业亦设在该校中文系)。从高校办学的观点看,这是为使高校教育与社会应用相结合,是文科教育趋向应用化的表现。不
