Liangshan Prefecture of Sichuan is the largest area inhabited by the Yi in China . However , there are also many other minorities liv-ing in this area .The development history and eth-nic structure of this area has formed Lianshan Pre-fecture ’ s unique characteristics of its population aging trend .
