音乐家汪秋逸先生,1907年八月出生于江苏扬州。南京中央大学教育学院艺术科毕业。一生从事中学和师范学校音乐教学。从1933年起直到逝世前,不断在教学之余进行歌曲创作。风格秀丽,主题鲜明,贯穿着浓厚的爱国主义的情思。1939年春在贵州毕节师范任教时即创作的抗战抒情歌曲《淡淡江南月》别具一格曾脍炙人口。和以后写的《夜夜梦江南》、《烟雨漫江南》统称“江南三曲”。流传广、影响大,
