前些日子,我們这里有一部分文艺工作者到农村去了。他們下去,沒有采取过去的“体驗生活”的方式,有的担任了乡工作組組长,有的深入农业生产合作社,不但参加了基层工作,而且参加了生产劳动。他們都下了决心,长期地在羣众中落戶,加速自己的思想改造,从事业余写作。这种做法是很正确的,完全符合“与工农羣众相結合”的根本方針。文艺工作者,只有这样做,才能写出真正为工农兵服务的,为社会主义建設服务的作品。
A few days ago, some of our literary and art workers went to the countryside. They went on without adopting the traditional way of “experiencing life”, some served as head of the township working group, and some went deep into agricultural production cooperatives. They not only took part in grassroots work but also took part in productive labor. They all made up their mind to settle down in the masses over a long period of time, speed up their thinking and transformation and engage in amateur writing. This approach is very correct and fully complies with the fundamental principle of “combining with the masses of workers and peasants.” Only by doing so can literary and art workers write down the works that really serve the workers, peasants and soldiers and serve the socialist construction.
