Artist Li Yuanjia (1929-1994) Although not many words, but see far away. He was born in mainland China and grew up in Taiwan. However, not many people in both places heard or remembered his name. Later he crossed the sea, first to Italy, then to the United Kingdom, and worked tirelessly there for more than thirty years. This unknown but extremely delicate art creator was early dedicated to injecting elements of Oriental philosophy into Western abstraction. In his later years, he created LYC, a freelance creator of coalitions in the British countryside, and practiced the wave of participation and cooperation in the arts decades ago this method. The magazine, Simon Kebi and we review Li Yuanjia’s journey of life, and think about his complex legacy.
