苏联自1962年4月26日发射第一颗宇宙-4以来,到1979年9月28日为止,共发射了465颗照相侦察卫星,平均每年发射26颗左右。最近几年发射数目在不断增加,每年都在30颗以上:1975年发射37颗,1976年发射35颗,1977年发射32颗,1978年发射35颗。去年到9月28日为止已发射了31颗。苏联的侦察卫星从提尤腊塔姆和普列谢茨克两个靶场发射。提尤腊塔姆发射的是实验型或特殊型的飞行器,大部分侦察卫星从普列谢茨克发射,该发射场是世界上最繁忙的发射场。
Since the Soviet Union launched the first Universe-4 on April 26, 1962, as of September 28, 1979, a total of 465 photographic reconnaissance satellites were launched, firing an average of about 26 vehicles a year. The number of launches in recent years has been steadily increasing at a rate of 30 or more each year: 37 in 1975, 35 in 1976, 32 in 1977 and 35 in 1978. Last year to September 28 has so far launched 31. Soviet reconnaissance satellites launched from two target ranges, Tiruutamu and Plesetsk. Tirumadeam is an experimental or special type of aircraft, most of which are launched from Plesetsk, the busiest launching pad in the world.
