第三届国际职业技术教育大会2012年5月14日在上海开幕,中共中央政治局委员、国务委员刘延东出席开幕式并致辞。刘延东指出,职业教育作为现代国民教育体系的重要组成部分,是面向人人、面向全社会的教育,对促进就业、繁荣经济、消除贫困、保障公平和社会和谐具有重要意义。中国政府高度重视职业教育,坚持就业导向,促进产教结合,积极构建现代职业教育体系,为现代化建设培养了大批高素质技能人才。
The 3rd International Conference of Technical and Vocational Education was opened in Shanghai on May 14, 2012. Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and State Councilor Liu Yandong attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Liu Yandong pointed out that vocational education, as an important component of the modern national education system, is education oriented to all people and the whole society. It is of great significance to promoting employment, boosting the economy, eradicating poverty, ensuring fairness and social harmony. The Chinese government attaches great importance to vocational education, upholds employment orientation, promotes the combination of industry and education, and actively constructs a modern vocational education system, cultivating a large number of highly qualified skilled personnel for the modernization drive.
