贵州省草地学会成立暨第一次学术讨论会1986年12月1～5日在镇远县召开。来自全省的70多名草地科技工作者参加了会议,共收到学术论文56篇。贵州省近年来在草场建设和草地与牧草科研方面取得了可喜的成绩,对于促进畜牧业发展起到了积极地指导作用。这些成绩主要是:开展了全省草场资源调查,基本摸清了资源,为进一步开发利用提供了科学依据;开展了牧草品种区域试验,筛选出了一批适合本省种植的草种;在全省范围内开展了大规模草
Guizhou Province Grassland Society was established and the first symposium December 1986 1 to 5 held in Zhenyuan County.
