甲骨文书法美学体系早在民国时期即已全面形成,“意境”则为这一体系的核心范畴。考诸文献,之所以称其全面形成,在于学人从根本上解决了“意境”的两个美学命题:一方面,意境论以书家接受态度之“戏”与“新”为逻辑起点;另一方面,甲骨文以“精神”“气韵”构成其意境主要的审美特征。民国甲骨文书法意境论,直指美学要义,不仅传承中国古典美学道统,亦为其时中西美学交融之典型案例。
