编辑同志: 看了贵刊一九八三年第十一期上《不要扬彼抑此》的文章,感到成志伟同志提出了一个他得注意的问题,那就是如何价当地评论外国影片的问题。诚然,在有些评论外国影片的文章中,对外国影片不适当的评论,过分的赞扬的现象是存在的,也是应该提出来引起注意的;但成文所举的影片中,说《虎口脱险》是一部“胡闹片”;说《三十九级台阶》是一部“漏洞百出”的影片;说《万岁,玛利亚》,“情节、人物完全是胡编的”;说《追捕》、《特殊的战争》,“有些情节是经不起推敲的”等等说法,都未免失之偏颇,使人难以苟同。我们不能因为评论文章中对某些影片作了过份的赞扬,就反其道而行之,走向另外一个极端,把这些影片说得一无是处,恐怕这也不是一种实事求是的态度。成文中所举的这几部影片,除了《万岁,玛丽亚》笔者没看过
