和东部沿海地区其它县市一样,江苏省如皋市于2003年下半年开始启动社会保险“五险合一”改革,在省内率先拉开了社会保险经办机构改革大幕。职工医疗保险基金管理中心被精简瘦身,剥离登记、申报及基金征缴职能,增加工伤、生育保险待遇支付职能,重新组建社会医疗保险管理处,工作人员由16名精减到12名。
Like other counties and cities in the eastern coastal areas, Rugao City, Jiangsu Province, started the reform of social insurance and “five risks” in the second half of 2003 and took the lead in opening social security reform agencies in the province. Staff Medical Insurance Fund Management Center was streamlined, stripped of registration, reporting and fund collection functions, increased work injury, maternity insurance payment functions, the reorganization of social health insurance management office, the staff reduced from 16 to 12.
