Congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction is a common disease in infants and young children, its treatment and time has been controversial. To compare the curative effect of several methods, the author divided 117 infants (125 eyes) with congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction (from half months to 4 years and a half years old) and divided them into three groups: A. Droplet group; B. Massage group. More than two groups adhere to the treatment of January after observation of efficacy. C. exploration group to explore the effect of exploration within 10 days after surgery. Results, the best effect of the probe group, the cure rate was 65%, markedly effective rate was 30%, the failure rate was 5%; dropping drug group and the massage group cure rates were 33.3% and 28.6%, respectively, the effective rates were 6.7 % And 11.4%, the failure rate was 60%: After statistical analysis, exploration group and the other two groups have very significant differences in the therapeutic effect (P> 0.005); the other 33 cases of drop and massage group failed to explore Surgery. This article to accept exploration total of 93 eyes, aged 2 months to 48 months, the cure rate was 68.9%, markedly effective rate of 27.9%. After 3 months to 4 and a half years of follow-up, improvement or cure rate increased. On the nasolacrimal duct obstruction site, nature, exploration frequency, explore the different situations in surgery are also discussed. Exploring the use of table hemp only, the method of fixation of patients is simple, executed by hand, no case of surgical complications. The authors propose that this method of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction is a better treatment, as early as possible to resolve the symptoms, for early probing.
