碘盐是防治碘缺乏疾病的主要措施。我国除台湾和四川省,所有省、市、自治区都用碘化钾加工碘盐。经广泛实验和实践证明,如果改用碘酸钾加工碘盐则可获得非常显著的社会与经济效益。
Iodized salt is the main measure to prevent iodine deficiency diseases. In addition to Taiwan and Sichuan Province in China, all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions use iodized potassium to process iodized salt. Extensive experiments and practice have proved that if the use of potassium iodate processing iodized salt can be obtained very significant social and economic benefits.
