在上级党委和有关部门的关怀与支持下,我们大队林场自一九七三年春以来,开展了毛竹种子育苗和造林试验。先后共引进广西毛竹种子4.5斤,实生苗造林和移苗68亩,支援兄弟社队苗木4万余株。一九七四年春分丛移栽的一年生实生苗,一九七五年春平均每穴长出散生态小毛竹25株(最多42株),平均高196厘米(最高278厘米),平均地围径4.4厘米(最粗7厘米),竹鞭越长越粗,新鞭向四周扩展延伸,最远的达330厘
