Objective: To study the wear resistance of dental restoration materials and their comparison with hardness and natural teeth. METHODS: Two-body friction and wear tests were performed with oral titanium and nickel-chromium alloy. The natural tooth enamel was used as a control. The universal friction and wear testing machine was used to compare the effect of repair materials and natural materials at a temperature of 37 ℃ and artificial saliva Dental density, Vickers hardness, the volume loss of the specimen. Results: Compared with natural teeth, the density of nickel-chromium restoration was significantly higher than that of natural teeth (P <0.05), Vickers hardness and volume loss compared with natural teeth (P> 0.05) , While the density and volume loss were slightly higher than those of the natural tooth group (P> 0.05). Vickers hardness group compared with the natural tooth group (P <0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Titanium alloys and enamel most closely match restoration volume density, and Ni-Cr alloys most closely match those of natural teeth in terms of hardness; Ni-Cr and Ti alloys are similar to natural teeth in terms of wear resistance.
