Through the fine testing and statistical analysis of the cuttings (or gravels) in the sections of the Sanjianpu Formation and the Fenghuangtai Formation in the Jurassic Hefei Basin, it is shown that the sedimentary stratigraphic source zone of the basin is the basal metamorphic complex distributed in the basin edge belt and the flower Rock, medium-shallow metamorphic rock and sand, muddy sedimentary rock four main rock units. The whole section of the original rock cuttings sequence can be divided into two major cuttings sequences and seven of them. Regularity of cuttings (or gravels) in the original rock cuttings sequence
