Objective To evaluate the value of spiral CT surface coverage (SSD) in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Materials and Methods Twenty patients with pathologically and clinically confirmed pancreatic cancer underwent thin-slice spiral CT scans. The original images were reconstructed by SSD method. Results The peripancave vessels, portal vein and their first-grade branches, abdominal aorta and their second-grade branches showed a good imaging rate of 65% -100% in SSDs of 20 cases. SSD images showed the relationship between the pancreatic neoplasms and adjacent structures The three-dimensional anatomical relationship, including the surrounding blood vessels, pancreatic duct, etc., indicating the above structure of the invasion, compression and its complications. Conclusion SSD images can clearly show the spatial relationship between lesions and peripancreatic structures, make up for the lack of axial images, and help to diagnose and guide the operation.
