《海虞农家占验》,书衣题签如此,清末铅印线装本一册,一九八九年十月杪,得之于苏州古籍书店。承该店臧先生雅情,特允入其柜架之后,堆藏之所,积尘之中,搜拣而获。初繙之下,颇疑其似未经王毓瑚氏所曾著录者,及视其标价,又甚廉,祗索泉贰圆,羞涩阮囊,尚差可支付,遂购之。既归,检王著《中国农学书录》,乃果然未见入目。(王氏著例,物产志固勿收,然农家占验则在必登之属,且年代下限,其末迄于民国时期矣。)复查《贩书偶记》正续编、《清史稿艺文志及补编》、《中国丛书综录》诸书目,亦均无记载。
