During the War of Resistance against Japan, the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University in Yan’an trained many strong revolutionary cadres for the Chinese revolution. The issue of “Furnace” published in this issue is a reminiscence of the anti-college life at that time for reference by historical teachers to students for their revolutionary traditional education.
