白鹃梅为蔷薇科白鹃梅属灌木或小乔木,别名金瓜果、茧子花,原产于我国江苏、浙江、江西、湖南、湖北等地,生于海拔250~800m山地阳坡杂木林中或低山荒坡上。笔者所在河北省任丘市华北石油工矿区,土壤属中度盐碱地,白鹃梅生长良好。白鹃梅高达3~5m。枝条细弱开展,全株无毛,小枝圆柱形,微有棱角。叶椭圆形或倒卵状椭圆形,先端钝或急尖,背面粉蓝色。花白色,5~10朵
Rhododendron plum is the Rosaceae Rhododendron plum shrub or small tree, alias gold fruit, cocoon flower, native to China’s Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei and other places, was born at 250 ~ 800m above sea level mountain slope of the mixed forest or low Mountain slopes. The author is located in Renqiu City, Hebei Province, North China Petroleum Mining Area, the soil is moderate saline, Rhododendron plum grow well. White cucumber plum up to 3 ~ 5m. Branches faint, whole plant glabrous, twigs cylindrical, slightly angular. Leaves elliptic or obovate-elliptic, apex obtuse or acute, pinkish blue on back. Flowers white, 5 to 10 flowers
