异体别字[1]是书法创作及审美的实际需求,有着重要的利用价值。秦汉魏晋南北朝乃至于隋唐的书法,之所以绚烂多彩,一个重要的原因就是异别字参与构成那个时代的书法美感和风格特色。试想如果这一时期的文字遗迹汰除异体,都用一个标准的字形书写,其书法会是什么样,还会有清人的倡碑和今天兴盛的碑版书法么?各种异体字字形对中国书法有着不寻常的意义,这一点却少有人去思考与探讨。而国家在规范汉字的条令中,唯对书法网开一面,认可书法作品中使用异体字等,这是尊重与弘扬优秀文化遗产的具体体现。
