英语教学不仅传授语言知识,更重要的还培养学生的交际能力,培养他们用英语进行跨文化交际。《全日制义务教育英语课程标准》把“文化意识”作为综合运用语言能力的一个组成部分,作为英语教学的一部分,正是为了帮助学生达到这个能力的必须。而英语文化教学体现在英语教学的各方面。重点介绍了在英语教材版块Welcome to the unit中引进英语文化背景知识对提高课堂学习效率,激发学生学习兴趣的重要性。
English teaching not only imparting knowledge of the language, but more importantly, cultivating students’ communicative competence and cultivating their intercultural communication in English.
