以双龙取水类比图书馆学教育,并非西洋曾有哥伦比亚和芝加哥、中土曾有北大与武大的“双龙取水”之典,也不是西洋、中土都有的图书馆学与情报学的“双龙取水”之故。双龙取水是降龙十八掌中唯一不以《易经》为来源的掌名,而图书馆学中能另类到此地步的领域,唯有图书馆学教育。 图书馆学伴随着图书馆学教育风生水起。搞教育的德国人施莱廷格,据说是图书馆学的祖师爷。美国人也许不信,但他们的祖师爷杜威也是搞教育的。文华图专以后,中国图书馆学也面貌一新了。现在图书馆人搞研究热情空前,但多数有质量的研究仍出自教育界。
