China National Offshore Oil Corporation was established in 1982 and has rapidly grown into the largest offshore oil and gas producer in China in the past 28 years under the state’s policy of not giving capital. As of the end of 2009, we ranked seventh in total state-owned assets, 11th in sales revenue, 318 in the world in the 500th place.
