某旅农场位于湖北天门沉湖垦区,占地面积2000余亩,主要种植水稻和棉花等作物。1995年3月,我们调查发现8.82亩的田间小沟和周边沟渠有钉螺孽生。在全场调查总计4173框,其中螺区范围调查370框,有活螺者90框,活螺框出现率24.3%;捕螺总数695只,其中活螺484只,死螺211只,活螺最高密度50只/0.11m~2,钉螺全部剖检未发现阳性。
